Studying abroad

Studying abroad will help you develop both professionally and personally. Experience everyday life in a different academic system, broaden your study horizons and improve your language skills. Learn how to stand on your own two feet and discover more about yourself while also making friends from other cultures.

Where can I go? Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences has numerous partnerships with universities in Europe and across the world. For a full list of the universities, see partner universities. Alternatively, you can look for another university where you would like to spend your exchange semester.

What about funding? There are numerous ways to fund studies abroad. Special allowances are available for students with disabilities and students travelling with children. Detailed information is available here: funding options.

Won’t my studies take too long if I go abroad? No, all students at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences are able to transfer all their credits for studies abroad and exams passed during this time. To see how this works, click on recognition of credits and grades.

Still undecided? Take this opportunity to benefit from the experiences of other students. Read the reports online or come to one of the information sessions on the various countries.

There are regular information sessions on studying and internships abroad where Nordhausen students who have spent part of their studies abroad share their experiences.
