International Project Week - General Information

The International Project Week is a great opportunity for students to improve their foreign language and intercultural skills in the context of course specific and interdisciplinary project work. Thus, every spring semester lecturers from partner universities and institutions are invited to work with FH Nordhausen students from both faculties "Engineering" and "Economic and Social Sciences". The international lecturers have the great possibility to teach students in another cultural and academic context and to meet colleagues from different countries and continents. Over the last years many new friendships and networks arouse because of these annual meetings in Nordhausen.

The project topics depend on the proposals of our guests; there are projects in business studies, social or health care studies, cultural studies, career orientation, communication, informatics, environmental engineering and public management. They will be selected by a commission in which representatives from all courses are present. The tuition language in the majority of projects is English. The lecturing activities take place every morning (3 hours per day) and in the afternoons and evenings there is an interesting cultural programme for the guest lecturers.

The next Nordhausen International Project Week will take place from 05th to 09th May 2014.

If you are interested in participating for the first time as lecturer at the 16th IPW 2014 please fill in the participant form below and send it via e-mail to ipw fh-nordhausen.de.
