Intensive Programme 2005 at FH Nordhausen

Every year the Fachhochschule Nordhausen organises the International Project Week (IPW). In the bounds of the IPW 2005, FH Nordhausen hosted an "Intensive Programme" in "Internet marketing, IT Management for Enterprises and E-Business", chaired by Pirkanmaa Polytechnic in Finland. Students and Lecturers from different European countries worked on the topic from 22.04. to 01.05.2005. During those days the students took part in lectures, workshops and company visits. They also had a lot of fun, because of an interesting cultural programme and parties with local students.

This Intensive Programme has been developed based upon the experiences of the past IP programmes co-ordinated by Pirkanmaa Polytechnic.

Learning and living in Europe means teamwork, flexibility and integration. Working actively in a European Intensive Programme promotes these skills and gives chances for an international career.

The participants of the "Intensive Programme" got the impression of their future work life and their future job in Europe or all over the world.

"Management of E-Business, Internet & IT in Marketing" considered aspects of Business Studies as well as Engineering Sciences.

Workshops

Within the Intensive programme, students worked in three different workshops:

1. E-marketing, CRM and Integrated Marketing Communications
2. Internet Marketing and CRM
3. Tourism Marketing with DVD

List of Participants

Students and lecturers from Greece, Austria, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, France, Ireland and Germany participated at the Intensive programme.

Financial background - Sponsoring

The Intensive Programme was mainly financed by the ERASMUS programme of the European Union. We wanted to make sure, that the participants get an interesting cultural programme.That's why sponsors were very welcome. Already two local companies sponsored some of our activities.

Evaluation
